Whitlock & Gray, LLC is pleased to announce the selection of one of our attorneys to the Super Lawyers top rated attorney profiles. Congratulations are in order for Austin-based attorney Lindsay G. Gray. She was recently given the “Rising Star” designation for her work in the field of Immigration Law. In this post, we highlight the award and her recent legal victories for our clients.

Super Lawyers

Super Lawyers is a rating service of high achieving lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high-degree of peer recognition and professional goals.

Peer nominations and evaluations are combined with independent research in order to select the final candidates. Each candidate is evaluated on 12 indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement. Selections are made on an annual, state-by-state basis.

As a “Rising Star,” Lindsay made it to the final stage out of which 2.5% are given the final designation. You can read Lindsay’s online profile here

Recent Achievements

In 2017, Lindsay obtained many successful results for our firm’s clients. Here we highlight just a few:

  • A grant of humanitarian parole for the husband of a U.S. citizen woman with a life-threatening medical condition. This parole allowed the husband to be in the U.S. for his wife’s open heart surgery despite having a 10 year ban on returning to the U.S.
  • Immigrant visas were approved to two Syrian nationals who are elderly parents of U.S. citizens. This process was complicated not only by the different travel bans but also the ongoing war in Syria.
  • Two bi-national couples got the chance to live together in the U.S. after the grant of extreme hardship waivers.

The Super Lawyers Rising Star award is well-deserved by Attorney Lindsay Gray. We could not be happier that her achievements have been recognized.
